Just about anything you sincerely want it to do. Hypnosis is a practical, effective way of developing
or retraining lifelong attitudes and behavioral patterns. The list of applications is long, but most
items will generally fall into the following categories:

Controlling Weight and Improving Health
Managing Pain and Relieving Stress
Changing Unwanted Behavioral Patterns
Overcoming Irrational Fears
Achieving Goals and Improving Performance

The inability to control weight is probably the number one reason most people enlist the services of a hypnotherapist. Often, hypnosis is a last-ditch effort to get back on track after all other methods have failed.  By that time, the problem is often compounded by feelings of shame and frustration that diets and pep talks can't relieve. Hypnosis is effective not only because it identifies the subconscious triggers for overeating, but also because it provides an alternative pattern for changing the behavior.  The same method of discovery and redirection applies to any kind of unwanted behavior - from simple shyness to phobias to unsatisfactory relationships.

Achieving goals and improving performance

By removing subconscious blocks and providing positive reinforcement, hypnosis can help you achieve physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
It can help you learn to meditate, improve your
memory, increase your performance in business, sports and academics, maintain a fitness program, and even sharpen your powers of concentration
for poker, bridge, or other games!

Although hypnosis has been recognized as a valuable tool in the fields of medicine and psychology, it is not to be considered a substitute for traditional medical care, nor may it be appropriate for certain conditions requiring extensive psychotherapy. Responsible hypnotherapists will evaluate your situation and recommend the course of action appropriate for you.

DOES  IT  WORK ?

The term "pain" covers a range of conditions, from physical distress that can be quantifiably measured
to the emotional agony of grief, depression and loss that can really only be imagined by an observer.

In the year 1958, the American Medical Association (AMA) acknowledged hypnosis
to be a psychological and scientific modality and validated it as a productive tool for
the treatment of persons experiencing both physical and psychological distress.

My chronic back pain had never responded to any conventional treatment.  During my first session
with Janene, I discovered the emotional trigger that was causing my pain.  I released the anger and the pain was instantly gone.

I'm a nursing student at UT Arlington.  I nearly flunked out because I had trouble remembering what I studied for tests. After just one session with Janene, my memory was improved dramatically. My fear of testing was also relieved. I was really amazed!
